Hi Everyone! This is the blog I'll be using while in The Realm. For those of you who don't know, I'll be studying in Bath, England from August until May, and exploring the rest of Europe too. I have a whole list of places I want to visit: Dublin, Oslo, Brussels, Prague, Barcelona, Venice, Berlin...but that's all for another day.
I'll be living in a Georgian townhouse in the center of Bath with seven other American students. All of the classes in my program are taught by Oxford and Sandhurst professors, so I'm really going to have to work hard! I'm taking History of the Middle Ages, Jane Austen, Renaissance Literature, and a tutorial at Oxford called Politics and Society in Georgian England. So excited!
I leave for England August 30, and I have a lot of stuff to get done before then - getting my visa sorted, packing, repacking, practicing walking with all my luggage...
It's going to be a hectic last month in the States, but I can't be more excited to finally go abroad!
